As a part of the 2017 International design Biennale in St. Etienne, France, Assemble Sound partnered with Alter Ego Management and asked Detroit producers Waajeed, Shigeto, Mark Flash and Sterling Toles to take stems from a session at High Bias Studio by three members of Underground Resistance (Jon Dixon, De’Shawn Jones and Mark Flash) to create a new composition under the moniker Sonic Relations.
This week Waajeed’s Dirt Tech Reck label released the 4-track vinyl that resulted from those remixes, pressed at Detroit’s Third Man Records Pressing.
Limited to a 75 copies worldwide. No Digital. No jacket. White-label only. Here it is: http://dirttechreck.com/shop/feature/sonic-relations-12/
